Position Overview:
We seek a passionate and experienced Storytelling Brand Manager to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for crafting engaging narratives that captivate our target audience and enhance our brand’s presence across various platforms.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Crafting the Brand Narrative
o Develop a compelling and consistent brand story that encapsulates the brand’s mission, vision, values, and personality.
o Ensure the brand story aligns with the company’s strategic goals and resonates with the target audience.
2. Content Creation
o Create engaging content across various formats (blogs, social media posts, videos, advertisements, etc.) that tell the brand’s story.
o Collaborate with creative teams (writers, designers, videographers) to produce high-quality storytelling content.
3. Audience Engagement
o Identify and understand the target audience’s preferences, needs, and behaviours to tailor the brand story accordingly.
o Engage with the audience through storytelling, fostering a strong emotional connection and brand loyalty.
4. Brand Consistency
o Ensure all communication and marketing materials consistently reflect the brand’s story and messaging.
o Work closely with other departments (marketing, sales, customer service) to maintain a unified brand voice.
5. Campaign Management
o Plan and execute marketing campaigns that leverage storytelling to achieve marketing objectives.
o Monitor and analyse the performance of storytelling campaigns to measure their effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
6. Innovation and Trends
o Stay updated with the latest storytelling, marketing, and digital media trends to keep the brand’s narrative fresh and relevant.
o Introduce innovative storytelling techniques and platforms to enhance the brand’s reach and impact.

o Ability to analyse data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of storytelling efforts.

o Strong organisational and project management skills to oversee multiple storytelling initiatives.
o Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
8. Collaboration and Communication

Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Brand Manager, Content Strategist, or similar role.
* Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
* Strong understanding of brand management and marketing principles.
* Proficiency in content creation tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and social media platforms.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to think creatively and strategically.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience with data analysis and using insights to drive content strategy.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in the industry [specific industry, e.g., fashion, tech, consumer goods].
* Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing practices.
* Experience with multimedia storytelling, including video and audio production.
