We are currently seeking an interim Regional Account Executive to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, becoming an integral part of their fast-paced food solutions FMCG environment.
The position requires visits to customers in Belfast and ROI, and working from the Dublin office 1-2 days per week. This is a full-time temporary role running for 6 months, requiring 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £44,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
Time split between the workplace and remote working is subject to change based on business requirements.
We are looking for a passionate and high-performing Regional Account Executive to develop and accelerate Unilever Food Solutions business in designated trade partners and end-user customers.

This role is responsible for delivering volume and other financial targets via our Trade (Wholesaler) partners and chain customers (e.g., Hotels, Workplace, QSRs).
The right candidate will create, negotiate, and implement joint business plans with nominated trade partners, manage existing customers, and hunt for new chain customers.
Role Responsibilities
* Manage in-month performance vs forecast.
* Manage accruals and pricing accurately and efficiently.
* Ensure customer compliance with agreed trade terms; seek resolution and monitor implementation for breaches.
* P&L Management: Delivery of Turnover & Business Building Terms targets for specific categories.
* Delivery of required admin for the customer - pricing, rebates, NLF, promo proposals, trade terms, contracts.
* Develop and deliver joint business plans with nominated trade partners.
* Manage and source chain customers by creating and delivering JBPs and relevant commercial & service propositions.
* Work closely with all internal stakeholders.
* Build strong and sustainable customer relationships.
* Attend key industry events e.g., Catex.
* Travel and occasional overnights will be required.
Key Requirements
* Full Driving licence.
* Proven ability to develop customer relationships; self-starter.
* Proven track record of developing and implementing trade Joint Business Plans.
* IT literate in WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & digitally competent.
* Experience selling in the Food Service marketplace desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge and understanding of all areas in the catering market, including foodservice trends.
* Exceptional commercial acumen.
* Demonstrable customer-focused attitude.
* Good clear, concise thinker who can prioritise.
* A strong communicator: written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently, proactively, and as a team member.
* Strong organisational skills, including diary and administration management.
* Degree level preferable.
