They are looking to hire a passionate and driven Production Operations Engineer ready to make a significant impact on their ProdOps team. They are looking for someone with operational expertise and tenacity to help them achieve operational excellence and stability in their services.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
* Foster strong relationships with Development, Platform, and DevOps teams to deliver responsive and knowledgeable service.
* Own and improve incident triage, monitoring frameworks, dashboards, and capacity analytics.
* Utilize your problem-solving expertise to reduce complexity and operational toil through automation and documentation.
* Participate in On-Call cover and Incident Response, ensuring key SLOs for availability and performance are upheld.
* Act as a key stakeholder in technical debt reduction initiatives.
Responsibilities
What they're Looking For:
* Background: Experience in application or web services support, operations, or delivery teams.
* Skills: Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, T-SQL) and comfortable with monitoring and logging toolsets.
* Experience: Minimum 2+ years in production environments, with a preference for experience in Managed Services Providers or cloud technologies.
* Collaboration: Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
* Problem Solver: A self-starter who thrives in autonomous environments and can anticipate issues before they impact users.
