Ward are looking for a semi skilled and mechanically minded person to support our Service Engineers based in our workshop at our Ilkeston site (DE74RF).
This is a unique position which will suit someone who has some experience working with hand tools (spanners, hammers) and perhaps some welding experience, however we are happy to teach this skill to the right candidate.
A typical day will consist of maintenance tasks, such as changing hydraulic pipes, changing fuel filters, changing hoses and machinery guards. You will be working alongside time served and highly competent service engineers so it's a great opportunity to develop the skills you already have.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
It is essential that you have good team-work skills and previous experience in a similar role. You will be required to work both individually and as part of a team.
