The Role of a Team Member is to process product using various techniques, that require a time served apprenticeship and experience of machining, inspection and NDT, as set out by Technical instructions, Inspection Procedure cards, Engineering drawings and specifications.
Key accountabilities:
1. Carrying out machining, inspection or NDT, inspection using various Inspection Techniques on a variety of Blades, Discs, Blisks and Drums.
2. Set up and run programmes, working to technical instructions and sentencing accordingly.
3. Work closely with support functions.
4. Ensuring safe working practices are adhered to at all times.
5. Maintaining high levels of 5s, Housekeeping and Asset care.
6. You must be able to work a shift pattern which can consist of regular days, 2 shifts, 3-shifts or a 4 shift pattern depending on workload. Whilst most areas operate on a 3 shift basis, you have to be flexible to the business needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship/ NVQ Level 3 as a minimum.
2. Previous Inspection experience is preferred although full training will be given.
3. Good levels of numeracy and literacy.
4. Good eyesight.
5. Being able to maintain safe working practices.
6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

1. Grade A: Joining the business.
2. Grade B: Gaining First Skill.
3. Grade C: Gaining Second skill.
4. Grade D: Completing development pack.
