As a Building Surveyor in our Industrial and Manufacturing Team, you will be responsible for the delivery of asset optimisation and net zero carbon solutions for our global clients.
As a seller-doer, you will have a strong presence in the Construction Industry. You'll be a part of the growth team to expand the Arcadis Building Surveying offering across our existing portfolio.
* Lead the delivery of projects (generally ranging from £100k - £3M) and professional assignments individually, and collaborate as part of a team in the delivery of larger multi-disciplinary projects.
* Provide sound and reasoned technical and professional advice to clients or internal stakeholders relating to the Building Surveying scope of services, which will include: Design and specification, Contract administration, Project management, Stakeholder management, Risk management, Asset optimisation, Retrofit solutions.
* Assist with the development of Building Surveying services within Arcadis and our capability through responding to market opportunities and selling our services to existing Arcadis clients.
* As the workload continues to grow, be part of the team recruiting other Surveyors to service our clients' needs. You would then lead this growing team.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Good communication skills with a pro-active approach and can-do attitude.
* Detailed and thorough knowledge of both traditional and modern building construction technology and techniques.
* Experience of design and specification, contract administration, and property refurbishment and maintenance.
* Experience of controlling quality on projects and leading challenging projects.
* A broad thinker and problem solver who can take a commercial view of property and asset management.
* Commercially aware and financially astute.
