Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning and development of highways and transportation projects.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of transportation infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with government agencies, community stakeholders, and private sector partners to develop comprehensive transportation solutions.
Monitor and analyze transportation trends and data to inform decision-making and policy development.
Promote sustainable practices in transportation planning and execution, including environmental considerations and public transit solutions.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to a team of transportation professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in transportation management or engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of transportation systems, policies, and best practices, with a focus on highways and urban planning.
Proven ability to manage multi-million dollar budgets and large-scale projects effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and present complex information clearly.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and policy formulation related to transportation and infrastructure development.
Proficiency in using transportation modeling and analysis software, along with strong analytical skills to drive data-informed decision-making.

Pay Per Hour: £62.45
