Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking a Waste Support Officer to provide administrative and contractual support for the Hanford Energy from Waste (EfW) Contract Management Team. This is a vital role that ensures the smooth operation of waste management services working closely with internal operational managers and third-party contractors.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of waste operations and disposal, with knowledge of Health and Safety, compliance, data management and planning. The awareness of waste regulations and industry consultations is desirable.
We are looking for an individual who has excellent organisational skills with the ability to be reactive in a fast-paced environment. An effective and confident communicator, with a proactive approach are essential attributes for the role.
