Purpose
The position of Senior Business Analyst is situated within our Customer Business SAP Centre of Excellence, reporting to the Change Management Manager. Focused on providing expert support to the Customer Business SAP and Cloud Technology change and incident management processes, you will govern the development of AI technologies across our Customer Business operations, ensuring effective and efficient change management with a continuous improvement approach.
To ensure that the business solution performs effectively, you will also provide expertise regarding SAP business processes to improve planning, incident and change processes, also conducting internal and external audits to ensure compliance with all stipulated controls.
Responsibilities
1. Identifying issues through control reporting and analysis, producing change controls or incidents as necessary, you will input business and technological expertise to inform decisions on solution requirements.
2. Undertaking end-to-end project management responsibilities across the full project lifecycle for small projects, including required project governance and control, you will participate with Business and IT demand to identify and prioritise business requirements and develop business cases.
3. Providing direction to our CoE staff and external Contractors/Consultants, you will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering open communication and collaboration.
4. Designing, specifying, testing and implementing changes to business processes, you will define and roll-out of standards and templates, maintaining suitable documentation whilst monitoring, analysing and optimising business processes and interfaces in close cooperation with our technology team.
5. Supporting activities relating to internal and external audits to demonstrate IT controls in place for change request processes, you will also be required to verify and implement recommendations with service reports in conjunction with the Technology team.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate your knowledge and experience within the utility industry, bringing your valuable insights and understanding. With proven experience in project delivery (with Agile delivery experience being a significant advantage), you will possess a qualification and/or hold extensive experience in a Business Analysis role to ensure thorough and effective analysis. Certified in, or possessing experience in Project Management, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to lead and manage projects successfully whilst implementing and managing governance processes which ensure compliance and efficiency.
