You will be involved with the day to day needs of students during physiotherapy sessions, occupational therapy sessions, and also be available to meet their intimate care needs. Training will be provided in particular aspects of the role, and you will be part of a supportive team working across the whole school. Whilst we do have an ongoing campaign to recruit experienced TAs for this school, this is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to make a transition from a role in care-work, a nursery position, or even a nursing/medical background. Having additional, relevant qualifications/experience-such as a recent Team-Teach Certificate would again be advantageous, but not essential. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience within a very pro-active school, with strong community links, an excellent reputation, and an ethos to encourage students to enjoy their learning environment. The school is easily accessible by public transport (bus/train), should you not have access to your own vehicle.
