The Children’s Hearings System provides the operational setting in which SCRA and our partner agencies work. The aim is to provide a safety net for vulnerable children and deliver tailored solutions which meet the needs of the individuals involved, while helping to build stronger families and safer communities. SCRA has established a solid baseline of business Digital capabilities, but we intend to set out a clear and compelling strategy that extends direct Digital service channels to children, their families, and strengthens collaboration with our partners.
We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and committed individual to assist in the development and implementation of SCRA’s Digital Strategy in line with SCRA’s Corporate Plan, organisational purpose, values and priorities. You will direct the service design and delivery of complex Digital programmes and products, delivering Digital products as an enabler to Business Programme change; engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including staff, partners, vendors and suppliers to ensure conception-to-implementation of Digital capabilities which meet the needs of SCRA and partners.
You will have a proven track record of providing advice and assurance to senior management, experience of the governance of Digital change ideally in the Scottish public sector context, managing and mitigating operational and strategic risks and collaborating constructively in business change. You will be able to clearly evidence how you match the essential personal specification criteria within your application and demonstrate your awareness of the Children’s Hearings System priorities.
All SCRA posts are subject to a probationary period of 6 months or the term of the contract if shorter.
Closing date: Friday 28 February 2025
All posts are subject to PVG clearance by Disclosure Scotland. It is normal practice to appoint at the minimum point of the salary scale.
