As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your role will include:
1. Manage projects effectively using sound engineering principles and techniques, while overseeing people and resources.
2. Develop, test, and refine theoretical designs to ensure practical application.
3. Evaluate and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to enhance safety and efficiency.
4. Collaborate closely with contractors, sub-contractors, and other professionals both inside and outside the engineering field.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within manufacturing environments.
6. React promptly to address and resolve breakdowns or reported faults.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation during the execution of engineering works.
8. Perform risk assessments as required for all engineering tasks.
9. Oversee the commissioning and monitoring of plant systems.
10. Mentor and support engineers, providing guidance when needed.
11. Continuously improve and maintain production processes within buildings or related facilities.
12. Take into account cost, safety, and time constraints when developing solutions.
13. Handle additional duties as reasonably assigned by the company.
Requirements for the role:
1. Fully qualified with 2365/2357 certifications or equivalent.
2. 18th Edition electrical qualification.
3. Testing and Inspection certification (2392 or equivalent).
4. ECS Gold Card (but not essential).
5. Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an advantage.
6. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with back-office teams.
7. Well-organized with excellent time management skills.

1. Overall package between £45,000-£55,000.
