Job Title: Maintenance Person

Information about the Role:

Working in General Maintenance in Beech Manor your duties will include the following:

* Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
* Performing preventative maintenance.
* Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
* Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
* Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
* Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
* Taking apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
* Checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogues as necessary.
* Using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
* Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
* Keeping the Garden tidy including mowing the lawns.

Information about the Service:

Beech Manor is a 24-hr residential step-down unit with nursing that supports males and females over the age of 18 who present with complex and ongoing mental health needs.

Necessary Experience or Qualifications:

Someone who has a real passion for maintenance and high-quality work.

1. Proven maintenance experience.
2. Must be a Driver with a Current and Valid Driving License.
3. Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
