Salary: circa £50,000 What you’ll be doing: Support the implementation of the data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and the wider enterprise architecture Manage and maintain comprehensive data architecture using TOGAF industry standard framework to support current and future business needs Develops, maintains, and optimises complex data models, ensuring they support the organisations data architecture and business requirements Enforcement of data governance policies, standards, and frameworks to ensure data integrity, advising the business functions, programmes and projects on data ownership and data stewardship practices Engage with stakeholders from the business functions and programmes to advise on data management best practice, ensuring alignment to data architecture, and data governance policies and standards Support the business and programmes on the implementation of data management processes, collaborating with BAE Group IM&T, and Maritime Sector to embellish the wider data enterprise architecture and ensure alignment across the business to group standards Your skills and experiences: ESSENTIIAL: Ability to utilise data management frameworks and standards to create and manage effective data governance programs (ideally DAMA) Proficient in the use of modelling tools, and languages to design, create, and maintain data models that meet business requirements (ideally SPARX EA) Presentation skills with ability to articulate and deliver key messages to various stakeholders, including leadership DESIRABLE: Experience applying enterprise architecture frameworks to develop and implement comprehensive data architectures (ideally TOGAF) Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.
