As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing diverse projects, providing expert guidance, and contributing to the growth of our firm. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded knowledge of building remediation practices, with a good knowledge of fire safety engineering and façades. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a variety of building remediation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget Conduct site monitoring visits and provide strategic advice to clients regarding their obligations and potential liabilities Prepare and review reports, specifications, and schedules of work, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards Ensure legal compliance regarding compliance with the Building Safety Act and relevant Health & Safety legislation and regulations that may be applicable to the projects. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop effective solutions and maintain strong working relationships Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth and enhancing the firm's reputation in the market. The successful candidate will: BSc or MSc in Fire Engineering or Façade Engineering (desired) Must be Level 4 or Level 5 in Fire Safety or Engineering Must hold a full UK driving license Exceptional communicator at all levels An understanding of project management principals and methodologies Capable of hands-on problem solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions Able to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external specialisms Excellent understanding of relevant legislative requirements Customer & Client facing experience and demonstrable client account management skills A sound understanding of the building remediation process, including applications to the government funding Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage both long and short term workstreams and priorities What’s in it for you: Ability to purchase additional annual leave Healthcare scheme Regular company events Cycle to work scheme Company reward scheme (vouchers, etc) Firntec Ltd values diversity and promotes equality.
