Tillicoultry Quarries is a successful and fast-growing family-owned quarrying company and major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete, mortar, render and sports sand to the building and road construction industry. We operate in over 31 sites throughout Central Scotland, the North East of England and East Anglia.
Due to our continued success and rapid growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team at our Tulliallan site in Kincardine. This role will be based out of our workshop and will play a vital part in ensuring that our fleet is always maintained, serviced, and safe so we can continue to deliver quality and service to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Carry out and arrange routine and statutory inspections, maintenance, and repairs to VOSA standards.
2. Ordering of vehicle parts and managing stock control.
3. Service scheduling and preparation of vehicles for MOT Testing.
4. Fault finding and experience in vehicle diagnostics.
5. Ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
6. Ensure all vehicle records are maintained to the required standards.
7. Liaise with suppliers to ensure necessary parts are available.
8. Tyre Management.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
1. Proven experience in an HGV mechanical role.
2. A willingness to work under pressure in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
3. A flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business.
4. Ability to work as part of a team and individually on their own initiative as required.
5. Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality standards to our customers.
6. Full driving license. Class 1 / 2 license would be desirable but not essential.
7. A relevant HGV mechanical qualification such as City and Guilds is desirable but not essential.
