Research Assistant, Part time - 12 month fixed term contract

Purpose of the Role
The post holder’s primary role will be to support the development, delivery, and promotion of the research activities of the CDCT. Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the identification, development, delivery, and dissemination of service evaluation, service development, and research projects.
2. Assisting in direct clinical activities related to clinical initiatives associated with the CDCT.
3. Supporting the running of CDCT, especially our specialist trauma network events.
4. Assisting in relationship building and promotional activities of the CDCT, both internally and externally.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
* Upper second class honours degree or higher in Psychology.
* Eligible for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society.
* Experience of working as an Assistant Psychologist or Research Assistant, including in an honorary capacity.
* Ability to work flexibly and independently, and show resilience.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Strong motivation and drive to succeed, with enthusiasm for trauma and trauma-informed care.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to present results confidently.
* Aware of and interested in working with people who have experienced trauma.
* Understanding of equality issues and commitment to the policy aims in employment and patient care.
* Aware of intersectionality and its impact on trauma.
* Scientific writing skills and the ability to produce high-quality professional documents.
* Resilience when faced with intellectual challenges.
* Experience conducting literature searches and reviews.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, SPSS.
* Working knowledge of R studio, including setting up databases and performing analyses.
