Responsibilities
* Supervise and care for children in a nursery setting within a Blackpool Primary School
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities
* Promote the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of children
* Monitor and record children's progress and behaviour
* Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
Minimum Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
* Valid DBS check or willingness to apply for one
* First Aid training
* Previous experience working in a nursery or similar setting
* Understanding of child development principles
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Organisational and time-management skills
* Paediatric First Aid certificate
* Experience working with children with special educational needs
This role involves working with children in a nursery environment. The work may be physically demanding at times. The Nursery Nurse may be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
