About the area The Raine Study cohort is one of the largest successful prospective cohorts of pregnancy, childhood, adolescence and now adulthood to be carried out anywhere in the world. Prospective longitudinal data has been collected at multiple time-points over pregnancy, infancy, childhood, adolescence and young adulthood. The cohort comprises of three generations, the index participants born between 1989 and 1992 are known as Generation 2, their parents are Generation 1 and their children are Generation 3. About the opportunity Responsible for cleaning, curating, and harmonising the longitudinal cohort data, ensuring its integrity for research use. Prepare datasets for a relational database and conduct data extractions for researchers, Respond to researcher queries regarding data availability and analysis. About you Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency. Experience working with large datasets, programming languages, and statistical software such as Python, SPSS, R, Stata or SAS. Experience in a research environment, preferably in a health-related area. Experience in data cleaning, quality control, merging. and extracting large data sets. Knowledge of health research methodology, data confidentiality and privacy, ethics, and best practices.
