Channel Account Manager
Basic Salary £50 to £60k, Double OTC & Excellent Benefits
Location – Central London
Our client is an infrastructure communications technology company providing end-to-end fibre solutions for businesses and wholesale/carrier/channel organisations across London.
The Channel Account Manager position will play an instrumental role in driving continued channel growth. Channel Sales plays an essential part in the business strategy and success. You will make a critical impact by further developing and growing our Wholesale/Carrier/Reseller customer base and increasing revenues.
You will bring telecoms channel expertise and a successful sales track record to the role. Primarily focused on closing new business and then managing those accounts.
Key responsibilities:
* You will be a customer-facing sales representative, seeking new partners within the Channel telecoms sector.
* You will need to leverage your existing professional network and build relationships with the key stakeholders in the Carrier/Wholesale/Reseller sectors.
* Cover the wide range of new business techniques including cold calling, joint marketing campaigns, attend the major conferences as well as internal and external networking events.
* Ket to success is collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to build and execute business plans and strategies to drive revenue growth.
* Maintain a deep knowledge of the macro telecoms environment and the challenges and opportunities they have or could have on our client’s business
Knowledge and experience:
* 5+ years’ experience developing and leading complex partner relationships. In Telecoms Sector for Carriers, MSPs, Resellers and Partners.
* Channel Sales experience is essential and most desirable in the Telecoms or Managed Services Sectors.
* Demonstrates advanced sales knowledge for the purpose of innovative sales techniques.
* Proven & tangible sales track record and sales performance.
* Able to attend trade shows & manage the stands & invite customers to participate.
* Demonstrate substantial knowledge in CRM management. Demonstrable experience in pipeline management and forecasting.
* Able to show empathy and understanding of client’s needs and requirements in order to provide the best solution possible that meets and exceed their needs.
* Ambitious with drive and determination to succeed but also to exceed target delivery with a competitive spirit.
