Position Overview:
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring students to unleash their creativity, develop practical skills, and explore the exciting world of design and technology. This role involves planning and marking, providing you with the opportunity to contribute to the development of engaging and dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from £155 to £260 per day PAYE, based on experience and pay scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons up to GCSE level.
Assess and provide constructive feedback to students.
Collaborate with colleagues to create an integrated and enriching curriculum.
Engage students in practical projects that foster creativity and problem-solving skills.
Contribute to the school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
A commitment to continuous professional development.
