As a Roadside Assistance Coordinator, you'll be the calm voice during stressful breakdowns, accidents, and emergencies. Every call is an opportunity to demonstrate your problem-solving skills and provide empathetic, practical solutions when people need them most. Whether it’s a flat tire, dead battery, or traffic incident, you’ll handle inbound and outbound calls with efficiency and care. You'll coordinate repairs, guide customers through every step, and ensure they're informed and supported. You'll also arrange onward travel when needed, getting customers back on their feet quickly. And while not every situation is perfect, you'll handle tough conversations with confidence when things don’t go as planned. Work Hours This is a 35-hour per week position, with shifts between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Sunday. Hybrid working with provided IT equipment (PC, dual screens, keyboard, and mouse); reliable landline connection required. Key Responsibilities Answer and manage calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. Provide proactive solutions and keep customers updated on the status of their service. Ensure all services are delivered on time, with all necessary information collected to coordinate repairs. Apply product and technical knowledge effectively to each case. Handle complaints in accordance with FCA guidelines. Ensure every customer feels cared for, respected, and supported during their time of need. About You We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure and has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll need: A strong educational background, including Maths & English GCSE or equivalent. A natural ability to multitask and manage multiple cases efficiently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm in difficult situations. A flexible attitude and willingness to work varying shifts.
