You will lead the Business Communications, Projects and Change team within Colleague Comms. This team manages our major business-driven colleague campaigns, with a particularly focus across People, Channels, Tech & Legal, our major issues management and change projects within Group Comms and our significant and leader-led projects, such as the communications around the recent launch of Marketplace or our leadership engagement programmes and briefings. The candidate will be an excellent team leader - five direct reports; have a strong ability to develop and implement state of the art communications strategies and be a brilliant stakeholder manager. Managing a team of five direct reports - all WL2 - and creating a team strategy and culture that drives high performance and role models our win together behaviours. Managing senior stakeholder relationships - including multiple Executive Committee members - to help and advise and support our colleague-focussed projects and strategies. Setting and delivering a cohesive and effective communications strategy to deliver brilliant business-led campaigns, on issues such as colleague pay and benefits, DE&I and new technology launches. Managing core issues and crises that could impact or relate to our colleagues, including being a part of the Tesco crisis management processes and the Group Comms issues management team, who respond to and manage crises across Tesco UK and work with the broader group. Managing our engagement with several agencies to ensure we have the best and most effective resources - ranging from behavioural science through to video production - to deliver effective and brilliant business led campaigns, including continuous development to include the latest and best communications techniques and strategies. Helping to drive forward the adoption of News & Views, as part of the Colleagues Communications team and working to ensure we have the most direct and effective communications channels for delivering business-led campaigns, change and major projects. Managing the communication of business-led strategic projects, including change (save to invest, people impacting, or people change projects) to protect and enhance our internal reputation as an employer.
