About the role
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Oldham, who are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can join the school to help support pupils in Year 2. This is an exciting position to anyone who wants to work in a welcoming school that aims to give all pupils the opportunity to achieve to the best of their ability. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school after October half term.
Ideal Teaching Assistant
- The successful candidate will have relevant experience working with children, preferably within a school setting. However, experience working with children in other settings would be accepted such as playscheme, sport coaching, nursery, residential homes and many more.
- An understanding of the curriculum will be beneficial so that you can assist the teachers.
- You must also have a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives.
- Level 2 Safeguarding Course (We can offer training for this qualification)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
