Job Advertisement: SEND Teacher – Louth (Primary & Secondary) – Full-Time Protocol Education is currently seeking a committed and passionate SEND Teacher to join a school in Louth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with experience in special educational needs to make a positive impact on students within both primary and secondary age groups. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess lessons tailored to students with special educational needs (SEND) in both primary and secondary settings. Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring engagement and progress. Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic development. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to support students’ progress. Track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to ensure the highest outcomes. Ensure that safeguarding and school policies are adhered to at all times. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working with students with SEND, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and emotional/behavioral needs. Knowledge of EHCPs and experience in creating and implementing IEPs. Strong understanding of SEND-specific teaching strategies and approaches. Ability to differentiate lessons to accommodate a variety of learning styles and needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Requirements: Full-time commitment required for this role.
