Job Purpose
Carry out maintenance and certification of company aircraft (including Total cabin maintenance) to ensure highest possible standards for all systems and passenger facilities.
Liaise with MCC and other concerned parties in the event of defects affecting the dispatch of the aircraft. Accountable for a safe and on time dispatch of the flight.
Supervise mechanics and technicians and all aspects of servicing, defect rectification and maintenance carried out on aircraft.
Take all necessary measures to ensure safety of personnel working in the vicinity of the aircraft and prevent damage to the aircraft and or its equipment.
Assist with administration of the station including materials handling, equipment servicing, reporting processes, rostering and all necessary duties to ensure the smooth running of the outstation.
Must be able to travel within the U.K. and Europe to assist with AOG situations.
Qualifications & Experience
Necessary aviation experience as a certifying Engineer including experience at supervisory level.
Completed approved or recognised apprenticeship on aircraft maintenance or formal training from an approved organisation.
Thorough technical skills and knowledge on aircraft systems including Avionics and safety practices.
EASA 66 or UAE-GCAA B1 licence holder Airframe and engines.
Holder of Company Approvals on Boeing B-777/Trent 800 and GE90 as well as A380 aircraft with BP7200 and Trent 900.
Full valid UK driving license.
Computer literate and a good standard of proficiency with office applications.
Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK. The Company will not assist with obtaining work permits.
