Job Description
As a Senior Platform Engineer, your responsibilities will include deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting of a portfolio of products services used by Together colleagues on our hybrid cloud and on premise IT infrastructure. This role works closely with other teams to deliver solutions which conform to best practice, being well architected and scalable. As a key holder of technical knowledge, you will also provide mentoring to other members of the team.
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be providing:
7. Adherence to Change Management, ITIL & Operational standards
8. Provide out of hours production support as required
9. Participate in the build, migration, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure (Azure & AWS)
10. Ensure use of our colleague services follows automation best practices relating to account provisioning, system settings, monitoring, performance, security, and availability
11. Participate in service desk support efforts and collaborate with team members and customers to resolve issues in a timely manner
12. Evaluate, on-board, Maintain, administer and co-ordinate vendor support for colleague service software and SaaS systems
13. Provide technical knowledge, expertise and consultancy on initiative work
14. Mentor other members of the team in technical and non-technical skills
Qualifications
it would be great if you had some of the following skills and experience:
15. Experience supporting the lifecycle of the applications and when issues arise
16. M365 suite (Mail, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Office Apps, Dynamics)
17. Azure Active Directory SSO / MFA configuration and integration
18. InTune & AutoPilot – environment build and application configuration
19. Windows 11
20. Printing Solutions
21. Strong understanding of security controls around server and account provisioning and access.
22. Experience supporting end users with general troubleshooting
23. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
24. Experience with DevOps Procedures and process and working in an Agile Environment
25. Complex problem-solving and analytical skills
26. Azure Qualifications Preferred
27. Accountable and results oriented with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
28. Strong interpersonal skills with a flexible and adaptable approach to working
29. Solid experience of developing skills of others within the team as a mentor.

31. Data Storage & File Server Migrations
32. SaaS Application Implementations
33. RPA Platform (cloud & premise)
34. Azure Dev Ops – environment build and configuration
35. Support and usage of Solarwinds Service Desk
