Job Title: SEND Graduate Location: Grantham Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Easter 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time About the Role: As a SEND Graduate, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored learning interventions for pupils with Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. You will play a crucial role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, ensuring they receive the support necessary to thrive academically and socially. SEND Graduate Responsibilities: Assist in delivering personalised learning plans to support students with SEND. Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions, fostering confidence and academic growth. Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Support pupils in developing social, emotional and communication skills. Adapt classroom materials and teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs. Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff. Encourage an inclusive and positive learning environment that promotes independence. Collaborate with external professionals such as speech therapists and educational psychologists. SEND Graduate Job Requirements: A degree in Psychology, Education, Special Educational Needs, or a related field. A strong interest in working with children with SEND and supporting their development. Experience in an educational or support setting (voluntary or paid) is desirable but not essential. Understanding of various Special Educational Needs conditions, including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and Physical Disabilities etc. Patience, adaptability and a genuine commitment to supporting students' growth. Strong communication skills and working effectively within a team environment.
