Must have at least a year working in Care Home setting in the UK.
For this role you must be fully flexible Monday to Sunday. You will be allocated shifts on a rotational basis. You must be able to work a combination of 8am -8pm/ 8pm -8am depending on day or night shift role.
You will not be able to provide us with your availability and we cannot allocate you your preferred shifts. Please consider this carefully before applying.
The Home
Railway Lodge Care Home is a haven of compassion and comfort, nestled in the heart of Dunmurry. The Home is dedicated to providing exceptional care tailored to the individual needs of our residents. It has 80 beds, offering a comprehensive range of services across various primary care categories including Care for Older People, Dementia Support, and assistance for those with Physical Disabilities and Mental Health diagnoses. Railway Lodge has been honoured as a finalist for the ‘Provision of High-Quality End of Life’ Care Award at the 2024 Staff Nursing Awards which speaks volumes in itself, as well as clearly demonstrates our commitment to compassionate and dignified support during life's most challenging moments.
The Role
The role of a Registered Nurse in our services is a key position in our mission to provide excellent and inclusive care. The Registered Nurse is a leadership role, playing a vital part in managing the care of our residents and providing high-quality and person-centred care. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans tailored to the individual needs of our residents.
We pride ourselves on being able to deliver excellent care to our residents, as a Registered Nurse you will support the management of shifts, ensuring the safety of all residents and our team. The role of Registered Nurse is always evolving and having a commitment to personal and professional development will ensure that you are able to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

* working as a nurse at least a year in the care home setting in the UK
About The Role
Main Responsibilities
* Delivering person centred care to each resident
* Assess and monitor the physical health of residents within care plans
* To offer support and supervise all care staff or new recruits
* Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to resident care
* Complying with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
* Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager

Desired Criteria
* Experience gained in a care home setting
* Minimum 1 year experience working in Care Home setting in the UK
