Process Operations Manager / Leader - Anaerobic Digestion

Astute's Renewables Team is proudly partnering with an ambitious, motivated and growing business in the UK's Anaerobic Digestion sector. Responsibilities and duties:
1. Ensuring the site teams are fully trained, competent and have a continuous improvement mindset
2. Working alongside the Site Leader to deliver the operations across a new CO2 plant
3. Monthly and ongoing reporting of KPIs, biogas yields, efficiencies and outputs
4. Develop and help to maintain the SOPs on site as well as all training documentation for the site
5. Ensuring that the staff are taking their personal development seriously and that all objectives are being met and strived for
6. Maintaining adherence to COSHH and educating those in the team as to why this is important
7. Looking at operational plans, performing some gap analysis and identifying any areas for improvement
8. Be the responsible person for Legionella control on site
9. Being the responsible person for HACCP, TACCP and VACCP on site
10. Other duties as required
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
1. Ideally, degree qualified in an engineering field
2. At least 5 years experience in the same or similar role. We're open to those who would progress into the position.
3. Six Sigma or similar would be advantageous
4. UK driving licence
