A motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse is sought to join a growing team, providing essential support in consults, surgery, and dedicated nurse-led clinical sessions. This role supports professional development, enabling nurses to broaden and fully utilise their skills.
Flexible Rota Pattern
The role requires a minimum of 2 days per week (16 hours) and one Saturday morning in four, with flexibility open to discussion. There are no out-of-hours requirements.
The Practice
Based near Andover, this practice includes multiple branches. The main branch is equipped with multiple consultation rooms, separate dog and cat waiting areas, a dedicated ultrasound room, preparation and x-ray rooms, two theatres, kennels, a cat ward, and an isolation ward. Other branches also support consultations, operations, and diagnostic procedures.
Supportive, Long-Standing Team
The team includes experienced veterinarians with diverse specialisations and certificate holders in various fields. Monthly visits from specialists in cardiology and orthopaedics, along with regular clinics hosted by a physiotherapist, enhance the practice's level of care. The nursing team comprises Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, and Animal Care Assistants, and the practice proudly serves as a training centre for nurses.
