Millfield School’s thriving Business Department is expanding, and we are seeking an inspirational, dynamic, and dedicated Teacher of Business to join our team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to teach A-Level and GCSE Business, as well as the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. The ability to teach Economics at GCSE and A-Level would be advantageous.
Our department combines industry knowledge with academic expertise, integrating real-world business case studies and current news into lessons. We foster a culture of enterprise, inspiring students to be creative, innovative, and dynamic. The department is well-resourced, offering a range of enrichment activities, including enterprise challenges, student-led micro-businesses, guest speakers, and business visits to companies such as Thatcher’s, Exmoor Gin Distillery, and Haynes Motor Museum. We also run international trips to Japan and San Francisco.
With 280 students studying GCSE Business, 205 at A-Level, and three BTEC Diploma groups, Business is a popular choice at Millfield. We seek a forward-thinking educator who can engage students, bring business concepts to life, and contribute to our high-performance programme. Collaboration and innovation are key, and we provide excellent professional development opportunities in a stimulating working environment.
