Job overview
We are recruiting for a Rota Co-ordinator / Clinical Governance Administrator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
Our busy Trauma & Orthopaedic is looking for a highly organised administrator to manage our doctors’ rotas. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the administration of the medical staffing within the Trauma & Orthopaedic (T&O) department ensuring all sickness, annual leave, study leave, and special leave for medical staff is identified and mitigated working alongside our friendly team of Consultants, Registrars, SHOs, and Operational team. You will be encouraged to improve or devise processes and pathways to ensure rota management is efficient, standardised, and streamlined.
You will also be involved in the administration of the T&O Departmental Clinical Governance processes and procedures under the guidance and supervision of the Clinical Director, Consultant Clinical Governance Lead, and Management Team.

Main duties of the job
1. To ensure that the Trauma & Orthopaedics department comply with all electronic rostering (eg Medirota) systems and processes.
2. Maintain operational staffing functions associated with eRostering and all associated systems and processes.
3. To undertake all administrative changes required to the system.
4. To provide first line support to system users.
5. To provide technical support, answering support queries either via phone, email, or face to face.

* GCSE’s or equivalent

* Good knowledge of e-Rostering systems/Medi-rota
