The division employs over 9,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers. ABOUT THE ROLE: As the Technical and Quality Manager you would be leading the team responsible for the contractual quality obligations, legal compliance, and promotion of an overall best practise approach within 2SFG Site D. The role is predominantly working for our renowned client, Marks & Spencer, though you’d also be working with the Head of Operations to ensure high quality across the site. Day to day you can expect the role to involve: · Ensure all site safety, health and environmental policies and procedures are followed within department and site · Ensure all accidents and incidents are reported and investigated liaise with site S.H.E team · Manage the continuing development of the M&S Champions and have a plan to keep their skills and performance at the highest standards · Root cause reporting with remedial action on quality performance across all lines and departments to the Head of Operations and the Head of Technical · Feeding back to peers any concerns and best in practise · Ensure the continuity of audits and visits are delivered to the specific customer expectations · Line Management for all people matters such as absence, performance, reward and recognition, recruitment, etc. · Works alongside peer group and other functional teams · Producing and delivering presentations to key stake holders including direct to customers · Understands Food Safety without any compromise ABOUT YOU: If you’re fanatical about food and have the can-do spirit that’s created our success, bring those qualities, with the following and you will have the recipe for success: · Manufacturing background · Food safety level 3 · HACCP · Knowledge of current business legislation and standards and audits · Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment · Experience of Microsoft Applications to intermediate level · Industry recognised Technical qualification – HND / Degree or equivalent · Advanced HACCP · Advanced Food Safety · Internal Auditing Qualification WHO ARE WE AND WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU? 2 Sisters Food Group is one of the UK’s biggest food manufacturers providing great tasting products to the nation, from chicken to cookies and pizza to pies With 18 sites in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
