As a Youth Worker, you will support young people to explore and understand their ideas, values, and beliefs, building their confidence, self-esteem, and life skills so that they can make a successful transition to adulthood.
Youth Work relies on voluntary engagement, and you will need to build relationships based on trust and mutual respect in order to support and empower young people from all backgrounds. Applicants should be passionate about young people’s rights and confident in leading Youth Work support, intervention, projects, and activities.
The post holder will have opportunities to work collaboratively to develop and deliver various targeted early intervention and preventative activities with other teams and external organisations.

This vacancy is a 3-month position (April – June 2025) and therefore, an internal secondment opportunity may be considered. Please seek approval from your line manager prior to making an application on a secondment basis. It is anticipated that this role will be designated at Ysgol Henry Richard, Tregaron.
