Role Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in medicines and medical devices sales and procurement within the Middle East, Egypt region. You will be responsible for managing key client relationships, driving sales growth, negotiating contracts, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including wholesalers, hospitals, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
* Sales Growth: Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
* Business Development: Identify new market opportunities and expand the company’s presence in the pharmaceutical and medical device sector.
* Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
* Procurement Management: Oversee the sourcing and purchasing of medicines and medical devices, ensuring compliance with the regulations.
* Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including regulatory affairs, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations.
* Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.
Key Requirements:
* Proven Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales and procurement within the middle east.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply chains, procurement, and regulatory frameworks.
* Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and business agreements.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and financial reports.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field is preferred.
* Prepare regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and market trends for senior management review.
