Looking for a meaningful way to give back, develop yourself, and make a difference in your local community?
We at the 77th Glasgow (Disabled) Scout Group would like to invite adult volunteers to join us and get involved with our Monday evening meetings in Glasgow's West End, Shawlands, and Cathcart.
Why Join Our Team?
1. Make Your Mark: Empower young people with disabilities to become confident, life-skill-enriched adventurers and gain access to opportunities they may not have been able to otherwise.
2. Gain Valuable Skills: Build your leadership, teamwork, and organisational skills, which are great for personal and career growth!
3. Join a Supportive Community: Get to know other like-minded people in a fun, friendly, and open community.
4. Experience Real Fulfilment: See the smiles of young people thriving and create memories that will last a lifetime.
5. Step Out of Your Comfort Zone: Get involved in exciting activities like camping, games, and team challenges; no experience is required!
Visit glasgowdisabledscouts.org/volunteer to learn more and apply. All volunteers are fully trained, supported, and receive a free PVG check.
A couple of hours can make a lasting difference for them and you!
