Are you immediately available to start an FTC? This role will be for 3 months, providing HR project support to the HR Manager to help deliver projects on time and to support and build a strong culture within HR at a fantastic organisation.
This HR Officer role is a 3-month FTC, starting on 7th April or as soon as possible.
Some HR Officer responsibilities include:
* To build a fully comprehensive working establishment list
* To work with the HR Manager and administer all aspects of Job evaluation, grouping roles into job families, ensuring JD’s are up to date
* Build a succession plan matrix
* Ensure sickness records are up to date and maintained in Sage HR
* To work with the HR Manager on producing standard operating procedures for all aspects within HR; On and off boarding, appraisal cycle, payroll
* To work with the HR Manager on producing a training plan with materials for new or existing managers
* To collaborate with the HR Manager to establish accurate reporting metrics, enabling HR to inform the SLT on trends, succession planning, absence, areas of excellence, and those in need of development.
* Ensure that professionalism and confidentiality is always maintained.
* Carry out any other reasonable task as required, HR administration as required, and work in a flexible way to always provide cover for the department.
* Write SOP for Payroll and troubleshooting guide
* Ensure users of Sage Payroll are trained and familiar with the system
* Pension administration including auto-enrolment pension scheme
* Prepare regular reports based on staff costs and staff numbers as required
* Ensure payroll and pension inductions for new staff are suitable
