What You Will Do: Administer intramuscular injections as part of comprehensive treatment plans. Carry out in-depth assessments for patients requiring ongoing mental health support. Create and implement bespoke care plans tailored to each individual's needs and situations. Regularly monitor and adjust care plans in response to patient progress and feedback. Handle a delegated caseload of complex cases with the potential for mentorship roles, guiding junior staff and learners. Engage with patients and carers through case conferences and reviews, facilitating better communication and understanding. Educate and support individuals and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and coping strategies. Provide care throughout various community settings, ensuring you're a vital link between patients, families, and other healthcare providers. Essential Requirements: Qualifications: - Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification and active Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration. Skills: - Skilled in administering intramuscular injections. - Strong communicator able to interact effectively with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams. - Confident in assessing complex situations and making informed decisions. Experience: - Notable post-qualification experience in mental health nursing, ideally in a community setting. Other Requirements: - A valid driving license is essential for travelling across the county for patient appointments.
