Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Registered Manager within a Residential Home to work full-time based in Swindon.
The salary for this permanent Registered Manager job is up to £50,000 per annum.
Main Duties:
* As the Children’s Registered Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding for children.
* You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the homes, manage a dedicated team of support staff and foster positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
* Your leadership will play a crucial role in shaping the experiences and outcomes of the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operation of the children’s residential home according to the standards set by OFSTED/CQC.
* Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and welfare for all children.
* Foster a positive working environment through training and supervision.
* Inspire, lead and manage a team of staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to promote professional development and ensure the highest level of care for our children.
* Develop and implement personalised care plans that meet the children's individual needs.
* Work closely with external agencies, families, and professionals for comprehensive care.
* Maintain all necessary records and documentation in compliance with regulations and company policies.
* Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and take action to achieve continuous improvement.
* Attend regular meetings and always represent the organisation.
Requirements and Must-Haves:
* Relevant social care qualification, ideally a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
* Ofsted/CQC registration.
* Proven experience managing EBD homes or similar settings.
* Previously been a manager or a deputy looking to step up.
* Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including OFSTED standards and legislation relating to children’s care.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff effectively.
* A solid commitment to promote the well-being and development of children.
