Join us as an eCommerce Sales & Support Manager (National) and support income generation via eCommerce channels, by engaging, developing, and supporting our shop teams with selling online, through our Sue Ryder Online Shop and 3rd party Marketplaces such as eBay to increase the sales opportunities and profitability so our health care colleagues can give more care to more people.
Reporting to the Senior eCommerce Manager this new role will take responsibility for supporting shop teams and volunteers in launching/growing their overall sales through online channels through the creation and delivery of best practice eCommerce guidance and training and being the central point of contact for shop teams regarding eCommerce operations. Ensuring high quality product listings and customer service related to online sales in shops, keeping up to date on ecommerce trends.
Key responsibilities include:
• In collaboration with the eCommerce team, design, manage and deliver eCommerce processes in shops to optimise listing quantity and quality based on eCommerce best practice
• Run and analyse weekly reports on sales, product listings and other KPIs, providing insight into performance and communicating to a wide and diverse group of stakeholders
• Centrally co-ordinate local postage and despatch operations, including collaboration with procurement teams and external suppliers on service levels; supporting shops with postage set up or issues and managing despatch supplies
• Build strong and effective relationships between the central eCommerce team and shop teams, building trust and engagement through recognition and support
• Attend regular online and in-person regional meetings with shop and retail teams to communicate results, best practice and plans for eCommerce and gather feedback
• Work closely with the Retail operations team to align communications and rollout of key projects to enable highest impact and engagement
• Collaborate with central eCommerce team to support integration of shops into the overall eCommerce strategy
• Identify and implement process improvements to aid continued growth and implement
About You
You will have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences being customer focused, you will be the bridge between central eCommerce and the national shop teams. You will be able to understand and deliver commercial targets, deliver projects and implement change process. Experience of working with eCommerce platforms and the ability to understand and interpret data and drive actions are essential to be successful in this new role.
Ability to travel locally and nationally is key to engage with retail teams across our national shop network – full UK driving licence desirable
