They are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their faculty in a full-time, permanent position starting in January. Position Summary The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's thriving Computer Science department and inspire the next generation of tech-savvy innovators. The role entails: Designing and delivering engaging and rigorous Computer Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school's educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4. Fostering a passion for technology and computational thinking in students, equipping them with essential skills for the future. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing personalized learning strategies to maximize individual potential. Collaborating with colleagues within the department and wider school community to develop and enhance the Computer Science curriculum and extracurricular activities. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification. Proven experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4. Ideal Candidate: Passionate about Computer Science and its real-world applications, with a strong commitment to student success. Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
