About the Role:
We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in mainstream and specialist schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, MLD, Down Syndrome, and other learning disabilities, helping them thrive in a safe and engaging learning environment.

Your Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with additional needs
2. Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students stay engaged and motivated
3. Support students with communication, sensory needs, and behaviour management
4. Implement EHCP (Education, Health & Care Plan) strategies to support learning and development
5. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to create an inclusive and nurturing environment
6. Help students develop their confidence, independence, and social skills
What We're Looking For:
1. Passion for working with children with SEN - experience is a bonus!
2. Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
3. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
4. Strong teamwork and communication skills
5. Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or sensory strategies (desirable but not essential)
6. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
