Role Outline\n \nConduct site visits across Thames Valley region to liaise with clients, assess new and existing project requirements, and perform detailed site surveys. \nCreate technical specifications based on client requirements, including documenting site details and taking photographs, then working with the Project Manager to refine the specification. \nInput all survey data, including photographs, into the job costing system to ensure full transparency.
\nUndertake the expediting of supplier orders and subcontract works packages. \nUndertake inspection visits to supplier’s premises to monitor progress in line with the project programme along with undertaking quality checks to ensure compliance to company requirements. \nEnsuring that Quality Standards are met by our suppliers and subcontractors in the delivery of projects.
\nEnsure that projects are delivered in line with company procedures and policies. \nTo create and maintain effective communications between all internal resource, clients, suppliers and subcontractors. \nGenerate and maintenance of design standards for; water and processed based plant, equipment and ancillaries.
\nProvision of design deliverables ready for construction and provision of technical support from office. \nAssist the project manager with the co-ordination of design and procurement activities. \nAssist the project manager and engineering team as required with the preparation of equipment specifications.
Ideal Skills & Qualifications:\n \nAt least 4/5 years’ experience in a similar role. \nDemonstrated experience in managing large value projects from conception to handover. \nA relevant Engineering qualification, ideally to Degree level.
\nA full UK driving license. \nFamiliarity with onsite health and safety regulations. \nWater Hygiene training or a basic understanding of water and sewerage hygiene (desired) \nExperience or a background in engineering, particularly in Water Utilities and/or process control/flow control/instrumentation/LV MCCs & PLCs.
\nStrong communication skills for both client meetings and site team coordination. \nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
