About the Company MANE is currently recruiting skilled Aircraft Structural Assemblers for a contract position based in Belfast. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with a background in structural assembly within the aerospace industry. You will play a critical role in constructing and maintaining aircraft components, adhering to the highest standards of precision, quality, and safety. About the Role Key Responsibilities Structural Assembly Perform advanced assembly tasks, including installing bulkheads, stringers, ribs, and wing box assemblies. Use specialized tools (Power Feed Drills, Rivet Guns, Angle Drills) for drilling, riveting, and fastening tasks. Prepare surfaces through deburring, countersinking, and hole preparation. Align and fit components using jigs and fixtures while following engineering specifications. Conduct precision drilling and riveting on both composite and aluminum materials. Repair and replace structural components according to technical guidelines. Part Fitting & Assembly Assemble prefabricated parts to jigs or aircraft structures. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for precise assembly. Perform rework within defined classification levels. Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems Fit and assemble hydraulic and pneumatic components, ensuring alignment and functionality. Swage fuel systems, cut hydraulic pipes, and dismantle/reassemble components as required. Surface Bonding & Inspections Prepare and bond surfaces according to Bombardier's standards. Conduct grounding checks for structural, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Plastic Moulding & Finishing Prepare moulds, bond plastic components, and perform soft riveting. Mix and apply plastic and sealant formulas accurately. Quality & Finishing Thoroughly clean, seal, and coat interior compartments. Apply sealants, inspect for leaks, and ensure all work meets stringent quality standards. Qualifications Education details Required Skills Proven experience as an Aircraft Structural Assembler is mandatory. Preferred Skills Proficiency in using hand tools, including Power Feed Drills and Rivet Guns. Skilled in assembling both aluminum and composite materials. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications. Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including axial swages and O-ring fittings. Adherence to Bombardier's strict quality standards and safety protocols. Ability to work closely with inspection teams and utilize Bombardier's software for documentation and task management.
