Job Details Temporary positions available until 2027, within the Financial, Revenues & Wellbeing section of Customer & Online Services. These posts are 36 hours per week (full time) with the working hours of Monday – Friday working 8:48 until 17:00. The roles are based within the Scottish Welfare Fund team, with some telephone work required, supporting people from a variety of backgrounds who are struggling with daily living essentials such as food and fuel. This role will involve assessment of grants applications. This is a Customer Service based role and the candidate should be customer focused and able to provide excellent customer care. The Person You should have experience of providing excellent customer service and good communication skills which include written correspondence and telephone interactions. You should be able to use your own initiative, work independently and as part of a team. Experience in prioritising your own workload and managing your own time whilst having the ability to work under pressure. Have a high level of customer care skills with the ability to respond sensitively to people with a variety of needs. Display a flexible attitude to work and change with a positive, pro-active approach. You must have the ability to use multiple IT systems and have excellent administrative skills. Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
