To assist with the management of learning and development, recruitment, internal communications and engagement strategies across our team, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and values. You will work closely with the Head of Operations, Lead Learning & Development partner and the Senior Leadership Team to:
1. Develop and implement strategies to ensure we continue to foster an environment of employee engagement and we do not compromise on culture
2. Conduct surveys and focus group discussions to understand employee needs and concerns
3. Plan and execute events and initiatives that boost morale and promote company culture
4. Track, measure, and analyse key employee engagement metrics
5. Assist in organisation of the appraisal process
6. Assist in implementing recognition and reward systems to motivate our team and acknowledge their contributions
7. Keep abreast of latest trends in employee engagement and adopt relevant practices
Recruitment
1. Assist with the streamlining interview processes and first interviews
2. Assist with recruitment needs including graduate recruitment, university partnerships and managing our intern programme
Graduate and trainee programmes
1. Provide support and co-ordination to our trainees through their apprenticeships (including compliance requirements)
2. To streamline processes and documentation
Learning and development
1. To assist in the further development of the Cortus RISE Training Academy including:
1. Assisting with training programs that support employee engagement
2. Assisting in the professionalisation of Certification levels
3. Assisting in the development of materials
4. Assisting in the delivery of courses
5. Co-ordinating with external course providers and developing “milestone” events e.g. New Manager Course
Candidate requirements:
1. Dedicated, enthusiastic and empathetic
2. Excellent communication and project management skills
3. A passion for creating programs that promote a positive work environment
4. A solid understanding of HR practices
5. Experience in working with the accountancy bodies ICAEW/ACCA student programmes would be preferable
6. Predominately based in the North (either Lancashire or Manchester) but able to travel to city centre offices across Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham and London (likely two other office visits)
7. Strong PowerPoint / Word and basic Excel skills required
