As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents, maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring health changes, administering medications, and reporting to the management team.
Must be able to work alternate weekends.
Medication training desirable (electronic MAR system).
NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care desirable – NVQ 2 essential and willing to complete level 3.
Must have experience as shift lead/senior carer.
Experience of creating/reviewing care plans.
Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act & DOLS.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Salary: From £13.65 per hour (increment for weekends and overtime)
What you will need:
Required criteria:
* Ability to dispense medication following the service's policies & procedures
* Previous experience of working in a similar environment
* Previous experience of working in a similar supervisory role
* Completed NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care
* Experience of creating/reviewing care plans
* Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act & DOLS
Desired criteria:
* Supervisory or management qualification
* Ability to induct and orientate new employees to the job role and service
* Organise and plan supervision and appraisals for care staff
* Knowledge of rota planning ensuring adequate staff on duty with correct skill mix and fair allocation of off duty/annual leave
* Medication training on electronic MAR system
