Job Description
What will you be doing?
As a Sales Enablement Trainer, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting new and existing sellers across the UK, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and tools they need to succeed. Reporting directly to the Sales Enablement Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in onboarding, coaching, and driving operational excellence within our Independent Sales Channel. You will also be responsible for the following:
Training and Onboarding
* Deliver tailored onboarding sessions designed to match varying experience levels within the sales and payments space.
* Develop and implement frameworks for structured training pathways, ensuring all sellers receive the right support at the right time and transition effectively from initial engagement to making their first sales.
Coaching, Tools and Resources
* Spend approximately 25% of your time in the field to deeply understand the ISC model and provide hands-on coaching while shadowing and mentoring sellers.
* Ensure sellers become self-sufficient by providing them with the knowledge and support to use tools effectively.
* Assist in identifying and rolling out resources that enhance seller efficiency and success.
Operational Efficiency and Upskilling
* Play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining playbooks, battlecards, and how-to guides.
* Help streamline and standardize processes to improve seller outcomes.
* Collaborate with the Sales Enablement Manager to ensure the LMS system is updated with relevant, high-quality training content.
* Support ongoing development initiatives for experienced ISCs, including product updates, advanced sales techniques, and new process rollouts.
Strategic Input and Collaboration
* Work closely with recruitment, sales, product, marketing, and customer relations teams to deliver a seamless seller experience.
* Provide regular feedback on training effectiveness, seller performance, and areas for improvement to shape the broader sales enablement strategy.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
* Extensive experience in SMB and field sales, with a proven track record of success.
* Demonstrated expertise in a sales training, coaching, or sales management role.
* Knowledge of the payments industry would be ideal.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Adaptability and a passion for coaching and development, with a focus on building self-sufficient sellers.
* Experience creating or maintaining sales enablement resources such as playbooks or battlecards.
* A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Willingness to travel across the UK as required.

* On top of your basic salary, you will be able to earn uncapped commission with typical on-target earnings of £55,000.
