Costs Lawyer - Hybrid - Leeds
The Role
Join a prominent Top 100 UK law firm specialising in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims, now expanding its Costs team.
The firm is seeking a skilled Costs Negotiator to collaborate with its established team, helping to drive a resilient and varied practice forward.
The ideal candidate will bring 1+ years of experience as a Costs Negotiator or Costs Lawyer, with expertise in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence matters. Responsibilities include drafting bills of costs, negotiating costs, and demonstrating strong knowledge of costs law and the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
This is a fantastic opportunity for Costs Lawyers to broaden their skillset, with comprehensive training provided.
The Candidate
* Costs Lawyer with at least 1 year experience is essential
* Negotiating skills
* Excellent knowledge of costs law and the Civil Procedure Rules
* Ability to deal with third party solicitors and insurers daily
* Excellent organisation and time-management skills
* Excellent client client skills
* Professional and effective communication with individual and business contacts
